A Little About Ana

Have you ever tried to make something special and, after you put in your best effort, it still came out a disaster?

Well, that happened to me 13 years ago when I convinced myself that I could make my daughter's 3rd birthday cake. However, with no training, tools or idea of what this was going to take, I dove in the deep end. And well… it didn't go as planned.

That's when I dug in my heels and realized I stumbled upon a new path that opened doors for me and my family. I am so blessed with a very supportive family that encourages and promotes me and my business every day. They are my motivation.

Looking back, that cake will forever be on my mind to remind me that sometimes all it takes is to ignore the fear, take the shot, and believe you can do better every time.

My cakes carry a little bit of my Mexican roots in every design — from the flavors to the fondant details.

        Booking Policies

        Please read before booking your event

        Deposits

        A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. Your order isn't confirmed until the deposit is paid.

        Custom Designs

        We love working from your inspiration photos, but we don't create exact replicas of another baker's design. We'll match your theme and color palette — every cake reflects our own style, so expect small (and beautiful!) differences from the inspiration image.

        Payment

        The remaining balance is due exactly at pickup or delivery — not after. For larger orders and full events, the balance must be paid in full by the day before the event, no exceptions.

        Cancellations & Rescheduling

        Orders of $300 or less require at least 5 days' notice to reschedule. Orders and events over $300 require at least 21 days' notice. Cancelling without enough notice forfeits your payment and the ability to reschedule.

        Picking Up Your Order

        Please give us a pickup time so we can plan our schedule. Need to pick up later than planned? Let us know in advance and we'll adjust if we can. Need to pick up earlier? Give us at least 2 days' notice and we'll do our best to accommodate.

        Order Condition

        We inspect every order with you before you leave with it. Once it's in your hands, it's your responsibility to keep it safe — place it on a flat surface, away from heat, and drive carefully (avoid hard braking and sharp turns).

        Delivery

        Delivery is available on request; fees depend on distance. If you've ordered a tiered cake, please have the display space ready before we arrive — we don't set up tables, linens, or extra decor unless it was part of your order.

        Do you offer delivery?

        Yes. On orders of $350+ delivery is included within 20-mile radius. Otherwise delivery fee is $2/mile.

        How much notice do we need to place an order?

        The more the better. We recommend at least 3 weeks notice for cakes of 40 servings or less, and 4 weeks for 50+ servings. Weddings, Quinceañeras or special events requiring 100+ servings require at least 3 month notice.

        Do you offer dessert tables?

        Yes, even though we are known for our custom cakes, Ana Bakes GC offers a good variety of treats and desserts of any type. Please refer to the Treats section for more information.

        Do you offer bachelor and bachelorette theme cakes?

        Yes, you might not see them in our gallery but we make ALL type of theme cakes.

        Is a deposit needed to place an order?

        Yes. Depending on the order, a deposit is needed to book your event. The remaining balance will be collected when product is picked up, or a day prior if it is being delivered.
